Bryan Adams High School instructor and an assistant at Blanton Elementary School received this year's teacher and teaching assistant of the year awards night of Thursday.Youlonda Green-Fuller, a 10-year district employee, received $1,500 for being named the top teaching assistant.
John McCollum, a theater arts teacher and 26-year district employee, received $5,000 as the top teacher.They both are nominated by the staffs at their respective campuses, a committee of parents, teachers, students and administrators.
